Jones Rejects Prize, No Bull

THIS man has a date with a bull. But concern for his, er, ``date" might just stop that.

A reputable Word source tipped us off that Hunter Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service general manager Richard Jones, pictured, recently won a bull ride after a charity auction during the Tamworth Country Music Festival went horribly wrong (well, as far as he was concerned, anyway).

Jones said he confirmed that he had won a bull ride with ``a pro bull rider" in Gunnedah but didn't think he'd accept the challenge.

Rather, Jones said, it will be re-auctioned at a later date.

Take it on, mate we'll happily take pictures and have a laugh.
